Soma Laishram is an Indian film actress, model and singer, who dominantly appears in Manipuri films. She is a native of Imphal, India. She was born to (late) Laishram Mani Singh and Laishram (ongbi) R.K. Tamphasana Devi. She took up the task as a news reader but have to quit due to the demise of her father. Later, Soma Laishram with the help of her cousin Neena Takhellambam, began to shape her career as a model. Soma participated in the beauty pageant of Orange Queen 2009 contest in which she bagged the title of 'Best Catwalk'.
